Gillette Venus

We had to leave Krabi in the early hours of the morning and  it was pitch black. We then were taken in small rowing boats to a larger motor boat that we had to climb on with torches. The hair & make up artists started getting the models ready on the way to the remote island. It was unconventional but a wonderful experience.

I worked with a totally Thai speaking crew including the DOP on this job. The only English speaking crew member was the first AD. It's amazing how much a drawing on a bit of paper and some sign language can communicate. We filmed on an island that was a nature reserve so there was nothing around except trees & incredible wildlife. absolutely beautiful.
